Jambalaya

 Dont know if this is the right recipe, but was generally easy, only one pot and really delicious. Recipe here .

One Pot Chicken and Rice

 Pretty easy and REALLY good. Easy cleanup too Recipe: here Notes: Might want to try at least the cilantro stems in the pot cooking Make sure you have enough liquid Make sure you don't use too much oil else the chicken wont get crispy enough You need less rice than you think

Kouign-Amann

Wow. These things are crazy sugary and buttery and not that bad to make. But dang is it hard not to eat a lot of it and wow is it bad for you. Not as hard as it might look. Youtube: here

Detroit Style

Crunchy on the outside. Saucy and fluffy on the inside. Recipe: here Video: here Notes: This thing is huge. Great for large groups.  Homemade sauce makes it Honestly pretty easy as long as you make the dough in advance

Biang Biang / Smack Noodle / Slap Noodle

Fun. Requires at least a few hours prep but quick once thats done. Youtube Recipe  here Notes: about 100g flour (50g water) per person Use a little less oil to soak the patties Don't overdo it on the sauce or the garlic Don't be afraid to stretch em out

Grilled Turkey

Grill barely got hot enough but came out amazing. How to spatchcock: here Notes: Used some woodchips but forgot to soak them M ight not work if its super cold, was sunny and 37 degrees which was enough to get it to the perfect temp (which was 350 degrees... for I think about 2 hours? No flareup. Had cleaned grill before and made a tray for underneath it. Just used outside burners Just over 17 lbs turkey Spatchcocking wasn't easy and i had wished i had flattened it a LITTLE more And don't forget to make plenty of stock and soup:
